Boost FPS without hardware upgrades
Practical settings and system tweaks to squeeze extra frames out of your current PC, safely and quickly.
Before you buy new parts, squeeze more performance from what you already own. These steps are safe and reversible.
In-game settings that matter most
- Resolution and upscaling: drop one step or enable a quality upscaler.
- Shadows: reduce to medium for a big frame boost.
- Ambient occlusion: lower or disable if performance is tight.
System and driver tips
- Update GPU drivers, then cleanly restart.
- Set the game to high performance in Windows graphics settings.
- Close background launchers and overlays you do not use.
Storage and memory
An SSD reduces stutter. If you are on 8 GB of RAM, consider closing browsers while you play.
